Each OMmi carries an embroidered ornament created from a single Ukrainian word using the Encoded Intention method.

More than a keepsake

Throughout history, people have carried meaningful objects close to them—small companions, symbols, amulets, and handmade keepsakes that represented hope, protection, courage, abundance, or love. Today many people still choose symbolic objects not as guarantees of outcomes, but as meaningful reminders of what they wish to keep close in everyday life.

OMmi continues this tradition in a contemporary way.

It doesn't promise magic.

It gives your intention a place in your everyday life.

Handmade with care

Every OMmi is individually handmade in my California studio using natural materials.

Each companion combines several traditional textile techniques:

• Machine embroidery

• Hand sewing

• Knitted hat

• Crocheted hair and shoes

• Natural linen, cotton and wool

• Rock salt filling

• Carefully selected natural stones

The rock salt inside is not intended as a mystical element. It gives OMmi a pleasant weight in the hand while referencing a natural material that has long been valued in everyday life for its purity and preservation. Every companion also includes one or more natural stones chosen to complement its encoded word and become part of its unique character.

Because every OMmi is made by hand, small variations are part of its personality.
