Miniature embroidered word portraits inspired by:
- the Ukrainian tradition of Brodivske Pysmo
- the way historical textiles are catalogued and preserved in museum collections.
DESIGNED LIKE A FOUND OBJECT
These cards are not made to look perfect.
They are made to feel authentic.
The watercolor paper is individually stained with coffee to create natural variations in tone.
The visible machine stitches, uneven seam lines, and aged paper are deliberate design choices inspired by historical archives, museum labels, and preserved textile collections.
Each card is intended to feel less like a modern print and more like a small artifact carrying a story.
